Education
I have an Educational Specialist degree (all but dissertation) in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri in Foreign Language Teaching. While working on that degree, I designed and taught a four semester sequence course for undergraduates who trained to become foreign language teachers, including the fourth semester when they student taught in local schools. My master's degree was also from MU in French, with an emphasis in Foreign Language Teaching. I graduated Cum Laudae from both graduate programs. I have also earned a teaching certificate in both French and Spanish for K-12.
Experience
I am a native speaker of French, and also speak Spanish. I have some knowledge in German and Italian. I have taught in a multitude of settings to a great variety of students. I gave private lessons to young children and adults and taught in public and private schools, from preschool to the university level. I have acquired a great variety of teaching methods, both traditional classroom instructional teaching techniques and in immersion settings. I can easily adapt to the needs of my learner.

Hobbies
I love traveling and learning languages. My own two children are bilingual and now learning German. I believe that everyone can learn another language because everybody can speak in one language. If success has not been met, it is because the methods used have not successfully been matched to that of the learner.
