Experience
I have tutored 7th graders on different subjects including English and Math but I feel especially prepared to tutor Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish since I was born and raised in Peru and lived there until age 15. I enjoy teaching in general and I believe it is important for students who do not feel confident about a course to get help in order to be prepared for the classroom. The reason I like the idea of tutoring is that I want to combine my desire to teach and my Spanish skills and do something meaningful with it! I currently work in the after-school program "Adventure Club" supervising a group of +30 kids in different activities.

Hobbies
I enjoy spending time with children as I connect very well with them. I have worked with children ages 0-12 in different settings such as summer camps, after-school programs, tutoring, and babysitting. If I wasn't a Business major I would probably be majoring in Education. I think Spanish is a very fun language to learn and I have always enjoyed helping friends taking Spanish courses with their schoolwork. I feel as comfortable teaching it to children as I do teaching to college students. A little about my personality: my charismatic and detail-oriented personality allow me to connect with people and get work done in the most efficient and effective way. Furthermore, my organization skills allow me to get work done in the most time-efficient way even when I have a lot of things to do in a short period of time. I love helping others and care for the well-being and interests of others around me.
