I am a sophomore at the University of Missouri-Columbia studying Environmental Sciences (emphasis on Outreach and Education) and minoring in Spanish. Originally from St. Louis, I graduated in the top 15% of my class from Lindbergh High School in 2018 with a GPA of 4.2.

Experience

I have been studying Spanish for 6 years; all throughout high school I took honors Spanish classes. I earned a score of 4 on the AP Spanish Language Exam this past year. Additionally, I am a recipient of the Missouri Seal of Biliteracy. I plan to study abroad in college, as well as do mission work overseas in coming years. In high school I completed the A+ tutoring program with over 50 hours of service to schools in my district.

Hobbies

I have a strong relationship with the Lord and am actively pursuing Christ in my daily life. I enjoy being active; I am on the club racquetball team and enjoy hiking and camping. Spanish has always come naturally for me, but I completely understand that that isn't the case with everyone. I'm great at explaining Spanish grammar in different ways to people in order to help them understand in a way that fits their style of learning.
