I have a vast amount of experience working with kids. I have babysat for several families and worked at a summer camp for people with special needs, but the most relevant experiences I have had took place in the Columbia Public School district. I have spent over 150 hours in the classroom observing and working with students in both general education and special education settings. The classes I am taking as a special education major have allowed me to see deeper into the minds of struggling students and the best ways of helping them succeed.
