Experience
University of Missouri (Columbia)- Graduate Teaching Assistant 2012-Present (I have taught three sections of PHIL 1200 (Logic and Reasoning), six sections of PHIL 1000 (Introduction to Philosophy), and three sections of PHIL 1100 (General Ethics). I am also going to be serving as a philosophy tutor at the University library next Fall. I have been in a wide number of philosophy courses in both my undergraduate and graduate education, with a special focus in the philosophy of mind and philosophy of perception. I have also taken a wide variety of courses in the social sciences, especially sociology and psychology. I want to be a tutor because I love teaching. I find it to be one of the most rewarding parts of being a graduate student, and also one of the parts I've learned the most from. Education is very important to me and I am very eager to help students learn in any way I can.

Hobbies
I spend a huge amount of time doing my work for graduate school, so most of my time is spent writing papers, grading papers and exams, and going to conferences and seminars for my doctoral program. In my free time I enjoy hiking and fly fishing, and just hanging out in Columbia!
