English tutoring experience in high school ACT scores: 32 in language section I want to be a tutor because I'm skilled at being able to use my knowledge and experience in English and Sociology to help others understand the subjects better. I have high patience levels and am successful at leading study groups and have had past success with helping others do better in their courses. Classes I've taken: high school English AP (and AP exam) British Literature American Literature Creative Writing Fiction Writing Basic English and Writing Sociology 1000: intro to sociology Sociology 1610: social deviance Sociology 1360: women and gender studies Sociology 3010: social problems Sociology 3310: social psychology I've had a few awards for my writing and I've also been involved with journalism sources for 5 years. I wrote for my high school paper and am continuing to write in my current journalism courses. I also scored a 5 on my English AP exam.
