Experience
I attended the University of Missouri in Columbia. Following my time as a student at the University of Missouri, I worked as a photojournalist and editor in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. I also have worked at the University of Georgia where I taught French and at the University of Missouri where I put together a children's workshop that was aimed at increasing self-confidence and self-esteem in school age children. All of the work I have completed has been a wonderful learning process. I have been homeschooling my own children in the French language since they were of age to understand the language. I believe teaching them another language better prepares them for the real world. With my experience in French and journalism, I believe I can dramatically expand my students' understanding of different people and different cultures. I am passionate about my love for cultural diversity and learning. They are two topics I have and always will have a love for. When I am not teaching or tutoring, I can be found photographing beautiful pictures. I also have an interest in writing. I currently am in the process of writing a book about my travels with one of the last circuses in America.
