I was born and raised on the Riviera, in the South of France, studied for a Master's degree in American Studies in Paris, a Master's degree in journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia and worked as a photojournalist around the world for a variety of media outlets, from Agence France-Presse in Paris and Hong Kong to small daily newspapers in the U.S. Along the years I also became fluent in Spanish and passionate about Latino cultures, having married into a Peruvian family, and sustained my love for literature and the English language in any way I could.
Experience
I have over twenty years of tutoring experience, taught Beginning French at the university level, and wrote award-wining stories for newspapers while working as photojournalist. I am also developing a book from my experience raising my family on a traveling circus.
