I obtained a Bachelors of English from Saginaw Valley State University in 2008, with minor focuses in youth services and sociology. I currently work in the marketing and advertising field in Columbia, Missouri.
Experience
I have been providing English as a Second Language tutoring services for 9 years, including conversational skills and TOEFL exam prep. I love working with English as Second Language learners, learning about new cultures and instructing others on speaking and writing the English language. I created a creative writing workshop for ESL speakers as an undergrad and implemented this with 10 students per workshop session. I also worked as a contracted special education teacher for 2 years. I am available to tutor both university students and K-5 Students.
